3rd grade

3rd graders have been very busy in technology. They recently finished their Powerpoints on a National Park of their choosing. We talked a little bit about research and spent much time learning how to create a Powerpoint presentation. We discussed picking the right kind of theme, font and pictures that went well with their park. They learned how to insert pictures (safe search) and how to design a pleasing layout. The finished products look great! Some of the students even told me that they started creating Powerpoints at home!
